Sailboat elopement | Detroit Sails

I’ve always dreamt of photographing a sailboat elopement, so I manifested it and made it HAPPEN! Leyandria and Yury live in Dallas, Texas and had made a trip to Michigan to visit family over the weekend. So we made some magic while they were home!

Detroit Sails is now offering photoshoots for couples who want to do something unique and create memories for their special occasions. George, of Detroit Sails, and I teamed up for the dreamiest sailboat elopement style photoshoot right on the Detroit River. Dress and accessories provided by Beloved Bridal in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Leyandria looked like an actual ANGEL. Leyann was dressed in the Nala gown by CHOSEN by One Day and it looked like it was truly MADE FOR HER.. And the florals from the brilliant Frank and Arnie really tied the shoot together.

As the sun fell low into the sky, Leyann and Yury clinked their glasses and cheers’ed to an unbelievably romantic night.
