One of my favorite places to visit in the state is the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore which has some of the most incredible views overlooking Lake Michigan. This creates a pretty insane backdrop for a wedding elopement!

On top of that, there’s the Nature Michigan Retreat which is only 7 miles from Glen Arbor. Nestled on 78 acres of private forest, luxury glamping meets nature! The perfect place to exchange vows surrounded in Michigan’s beauty.

Michigan’s beauty has SO much to offer and it’s the perfect place for an elopement. If you’re deciding to elope in Michigan, these Sand Dunes should be on your list to see! And if you’re feeling adventurous, I highly suggest you explore a bit while you’re there! There is a road that let’s you drive back over the Sleeping Bear dunes for miles into the park.
