A DIA engagement: Ben + Kaleigh

Kayleigh and Ben are one of the most fun-loving couples I have ever had the pleasure of photographing. When they told me that they wanted to do their engagement session on the steps of the DIA (Detroit Institute of Arts), I knew we were in for a great time.

The day of the shoot was perfect – the sun was shining, the sky was blue, and the temperature was just right. When Kayleigh and Ben arrived, they were dressed to impress. Kayleigh looked stunning in a flowy white dress, while Ben looked dapper in a plaid suit – AKA power couple!

As we started shooting, I could tell that Kayleigh and Ben were totally at ease in front of the camera. They posed effortlessly, and even added their own creative ideas to the shoot. One of my favorite moments of the shoot was when we made our way to the front steps to pop some champagne as the sun set! 🍾

Throughout the session, we laughed and chatted like old friends. It was clear to me that Kayleigh and Ben were not only deeply in love, but also best friends who enjoyed spending time together and making each other laugh.

Kayleigh and Ben, thank you for allowing me to capture your love story. It was an absolute joy to work with you both at your DIA engagement session, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you as a couple. Cheers to love, laughter, and happily ever after!
