Detroit Maternity Session | Shaunna + Adam

Shaunna and Adam became dear friends when I photographed their wedding day back in May of 2019. So when Shaunna texted me a few months following and told me they were expecting, I was thrilled! If you know these two at all, you just KNOW they’ll be incredible parents. So started the planning of their Detroit maternity session.

But Shaunna’s Detroit maternity session was far from typical. Her vision was for me to capture them in their element…eating at the infamous Lafayette Coney Island in Detroit. This truly defines A+ parenting if you ask me! I love that not only did Adam + Shaunna wanted me to document this special time in their life, but they wanted it true to them. This is so important to me any time I document a person or couple.

On January 23rd, 2020 Leo Murphy Kosmas entered the world. Adam graciously texted me with iPhone shots of Leo and his mama doing well. He even told me Leo can’t wait to meet his Auntie Moll. 😭 This is why I do what I do. This is why client relationships mean so much to me. Book me and you are more than just my client.
