I booked our flight for sunrise and it was the perfect combination of overcast + sun. However, island weather is pretty unpredictable. So take your pick of sunrise or sunset for golden hour!

My favorite part of the flight was passing over Kualoa Ranch. You might remember it by the name, hold on to your butts,…Jurassic Park!!! You could see dino bones and Godzilla’s footprint from the sky! But the waves crashing into the bay were insane, and was by far the coolest thing to capture. Especially with my 16-35 mm lens.
