Okay boudoir bestie—let’s talk inbox chaos for a sec.
If you’ve ever opened your email, saw a shiny new inquiry, and thought: “Yay! But also… what the heck do I even say back?”
You’re not alone. Writing client emails is one of those things no one really teaches you—but it’s such a huge part of booking clients, setting expectations, and creating a five-star experience. That’s exactly why boudoir email templates can be such a game-changer: they take the guesswork out of communication, so you can focus more on serving your clients and less on staring at a blinking cursor.
So before I tell you about the new resource I created to help you with this (spoiler: you’re gonna love it), let’s dive into this a little bit:
1. Treating every new inquiry like a cold lead
You don’t need to convince anyone to want boudoir. If they reached out, the spark is already there. Your job? Build trust and show them they’re in the right place.
What to do instead:
– Keep it warm, personal, and affirming
– Show confidence in your process
– Make the next step super easy to take (like booking a call or viewing your welcome guide)
By using my boudoir email templates, you can ensure your responses hit the right tone every time, without overthinking it.
2. Not prepping your client enough (or prepping too late)
If your client shows up nervous, unsure, or unprepared… you’ve already lost some of that magic before you even click the shutter.
What to do instead:
– Send a prep email 1–2 weeks out
– Include what to bring, what to wear, and what not to stress about
– Use reassuring language that reminds them: they don’t have to know how to pose (that’s your job)
3. Going silent after the session
A boudoir session is emotional. Don’t leave them hanging after they do something so bold and vulnerable. Following up matters so much.
What to do instead:
– Send a thank-you or post-shoot email that reflects back their bravery
– Set expectations for what’s next (gallery delivery, product options, etc.)
– Reinforce the transformation they just experienced—because it’s huge
