There’s something so sweet about this time of year—when the days start to feel warmer, the light gets softer, and everything just feels a little lighter. That’s exactly the energy Bre & James brought into my studio for their couples shoot.
The setup was simple: soft natural light and minimal styling. We brought in a bundle of fresh tulips (because spring!) as a subtle pop of color and a sweet little prop that added warmth and personality to the space. It was such a simple detail, but it ended up being one of our favorite parts of the day. Nothing over-the-top—just the two of them and a few thoughtful details that felt true to the season.
Bre wore a white blouse (seriously, she made it look effortless), and James kept things laid-back and classic. They slow danced, laughed a ton, and even got a little playful with the tulips. It felt less like a photo shoot and more like an afternoon hangout—with some very cute pictures to show for it.
Honestly, the whole session felt like spring in photo form: soft, joyful, and full of those quiet in-between moments that matter most.
Below are a few favorites from their gallery—I swear these two couldn’t take a bad photo. Trust me—you’re going to want to grab your person and a bundle of tulips after this one.
Thinking about booking a session just for fun? Do it. You don’t need a special occasion to document the way you love each other right now. The little seasons are worth remembering too.
