Ele + Spencer’s Detroit warehouse wedding was the perfect mesh of industrial meets Modern-Day Renaissance. The high ceilings, exposed brick and ductwork, left the couple with an ideal blank canvas for their DIY wedding. Leaving the interior with so much room to create a space to completely meet their vision and personalities. Quirk around every corner, the details perfectly represented Ele and Spencer’s relationship with one another.
My favorite part of the day was when I was able to whisk the couple away for a few moments alone, to capture them right before they walked down the aisle. Ele truly embraced her vision and bought a deep green cape from Once Again Bridal consignment shop along with her stunning wedding gown from one of my favorites, the Detroit Bridal House. These two paired perfectly together especially after a snowfall the night before.
They ended the night, under Edison lights dangling from the ceiling, tearing up the dance floor with their closest family & friends. Even a horse head or two decided to crash the scene. From their signature Elderwand Cocktail to Dragonmead on tap, this Detroit warehouse wedding was one a helluva night.
