Greenhouse wedding | Rachael + Denise

Rachael + Denise’s greenhouse wedding at the Green Gardens Community Farm in Battle Creek, Michigan is what wedding dreams are made of. Pouring their hearts and souls into their special day, the couple created a day neither them or their guests would ever forget. Disregarding gender normalities and guest expectations, Rachael and Denise realized their were no rules! It was THEIR day, so they created a day that worked for them! They had the most beautiful ceremony, bringing together their closest family and friends to celebrate and support the fact that love is love. Denise and Rachael have an undeniable, contagious love you could spot a mile away.

The couple wanted their wedding to feel personal and true to them as a couple. Luckily, they have a lot of creative friends whose skills were perfect to create the wedding of their dreams. Their friends helped in areas such as floral design, hand-lettering, officiating, hairstyling, and more, which personalized their day even more. Every detail, down to the invitations designed by their groomsmen Steve Sype, had a vibrant, retro feel. While infusing their love for music and vinyl records, and quirky love for each other throughout the space to create a magical, modern feel. A wedding so perfectly fit for Rachael and Denise.

With their vinyl-spinning DJ Good Music Gentlemen, everyone was sure to have a good night on the dance floor, obviously including me. And taco ’bout a good party…catered by Donkey Taqueria. The couple danced the night away sippin’ margs with all their closest family and friends.
