Let me start with a confession: I used to be deeply protective over my editing.
Like…feral. Guarded. Slightly unwell about it.
Editing felt sacred — especially in boudoir. I’m not just editing photos, I’m editing women’s bodies. Their softness. Their confidence. The way they see themselves. So the idea of “editing faster” or letting AI anywhere near my work? Absolutely not. Jail.
But also… I was tired. Tired of living inside Lightroom and editing at night when my brain was already fried. I was tired of telling myself burnout was just part of caring.
So I rebuilt my boudoir photo editing workflow — not to work less, but to work smarter. And it changed everything.
This is exactly how I do it now.
No one really talks about this part, but editing boudoir hits different.
You’re not just color correcting. You’re:
And because of that, a lot of us stay stuck in editing hell because we think suffering = quality.
It doesn’t. What it usually means is your boudoir photo editing workflow is doing too much emotional labor.
Let’s be honest. Every boudoir photographer has thought:
Same. All of it. But here’s what I didn’t understand back then: AI doesn’t replace your style — it reflects it.
If your style is intentional, AI can actually protect it.
This is the exact system I use for every boudoir session. No fluff. No magic button. Just a workflow that doesn’t drain the life out of me.
Culling used to be the part I hated the most. Decision fatigue is real, and staring at 300 almost-identical images is a personal form of torture.
I use Narrative Select because:
It gets me to my final selects quickly and confidently — which makes the rest of my workflow smoother.

Once my gallery is culled, I upload it into Imagen AI — but here’s the important part:
I don’t use a generic profile. I built my own Imagen AI profile using years of real boudoir galleries. Not styled shoots or trendy edits. But real women, real lighting and real sessions.
My profile is designed to:
Imagen applies my baseline edits across the gallery, which means I’m not starting from scratch every time.
👉 If you’ve never tried Imagen, you get 1,500 free edits — which is more than enough to decide if it’s for you.
This is the part people get wrong about AI.
I still:
AI doesn’t take away control — it takes away repetition. I’m editing with intention, not exhaustion.
Your clients don’t flip through their gallery thinking, “Wow, this one image is perfect.”
They feel:
Consistency feels safe and luxurious. Consistency builds trust. And a solid boudoir photo editing workflow gives you that without you losing your mind.
I built this profile because I wish it existed when I was burning out quietly and pretending I was fine.
It’s for boudoir photographers who:
It’s not a shortcut, but a support system.
I didn’t build a better boudoir photo editing workflow so I could work less.
I built it so I could:
If you’re ready for that too, you’re not doing it wrong — you’re just ready for something better.
I built this AI profile because I was tired of choosing between caring about my work and having a life. If you want the same baseline edits I trust for my own boudoir clients, it’s available here.
