Detroit Yacht Wedding | Evan + Julia

Julia and Evan’s Detroit yacht wedding was one of those rare days that felt like a dream from start to finish. From the gorgeous getting ready setup to the breathtaking yacht reception, every detail was perfection. We were lucky enough to be a part of it, capturing all the magic with the amazing MG & Co team.

Before the big “I dos,” we kicked things off with the most stunning getting ready setup, thanks to the incredible team at EZ Events. They staged Julia and Evan’s home in the most elegant way, making sure every little detail was perfect. The atmosphere was so calm and intimate as Julia and her crew prepped for the big day. The whole vibe was effortless yet luxurious, setting the tone for the day ahead.

Now, let’s talk about the dress. Julia wore a custom-made gown from Dreams Fashion by Noor, and honestly, it was jaw-droppingly beautiful. The intricate design, the way it fit her perfectly—it was like something straight out of a fairytale. The dress had such a timeless yet modern feel, and Julia absolutely owned it.

Julia and Evan chose to have their first look and exchange private vows at the stunning Meadow Brook Hall. It was the perfect backdrop for such an intimate moment. The grand architecture and gorgeous gardens provided the most romantic setting as they shared their promises to each other. It was one of those moments you couldn’t help but feel a little emotional about.

The Ceremony at the Yacht Club

After their first look, we made our way to the Infinity & Ovation Yacht Charters for the ceremony and reception. Held under a picturesque gazebo with the water in the background, the ceremony was simple, beautiful, and full of love. The surroundings added such a serene and timeless touch to the already emotional moment. The perfect spot for a couple like Julia and Evan, who have such a strong, genuine connection.

After the ceremony, it was time to set sail. The reception was nothing short of spectacular as the yacht cruised along Lake St. Clair and the Detroit River. The panoramic views, the sunset, and the fresh air made the whole experience feel like something out of a movie. The vibe on board was perfect as guests mingled, danced, and celebrated the newlyweds.
