In-Studio Maternity Session: Meg & Scotty

As a photographer based in Michigan, I am always on the lookout for unique and meaningful stories to capture through my lens. When I met Meg and Scotty, I knew that their upcoming maternity session was going to be something special.

Meg and Scotty’s love story began on 4/20, and it has been nothing short of amazing ever since. With their due date also falling on 4/20, it was clear that this photoshoot was going to be a celebration of their love, their journey, and their growing family.

For this photoshoot, we decided to do an in-studio maternity session in Royal Oak, MI. The studio provided the perfect backdrop for capturing Meg and Scotty’s love in a cozy and intimate setting. We started the session with some simple shots, capturing the love and connection between Meg and Scotty. As the session progressed, we incorporated different elements that were significant to the couple, such as their love for nature.

One of my favorite shots from their maternity session was when we captured Meg’s baby bump and Scotty’s levi jeans pocket. It was a playful nod to their story and their baby’s name Levi; it truly added an extra layer of meaning to the photos. Meg and Scotty’s love for each other was evident in every shot, and I know that these photos will be treasured by their family for years to come.
