This is what happens when you’re in a shelter-in-place order because of COVID-19. Can’t photograph my typical couples, but this was a good alternative. This couples adventure session at the Silver Lake Sand Dunes in Michigan was unreal. Barbie + Ken were a little stiff, but they were such dolls.

Before I met them, I wasn’t sure what to expect. They seemed a little fake from our few emails back & forth. But even with the same facial expressions the whole time, their love for one another is undeniable! These two are quite the pair! They even climbed to the top of the dunes overlooking the lake and wow, what a view from up there! They rolled around in the sand a bit, and ended their session getting in the water to splash around in their clothes!

This couples adventure session was too much fun. Before we left, Barbie even told me she wants to book me for an in-home shoot! I cannot wait–this couple was seriously GOALS!! Hopefully she refers me to all of their friends, too! #boredinthehouseandiminthehousebored
